• Outpatient services to patients with neurological, neurosurgical and spine tertiary care diseases of all ages.
• Inpatient admissions and consultation services to patients with neurological, neurosurgical and spine tertiary care diseases of all ages.
• Providing Diagnostic and intraoperative neurophysiology (monitoring) to KFMC patients of all ages.
• Providing psychology and psychiatry consultation services to KFMC eligible patients of all ages, requiring specific services or as part of a clinical program.
• Create disease registries for neurological, neurosurgical and spine disorders.
• Provide clinical research in the field of neuroscience through prospective trials and retrospective review and participation in multicenter Randomized Controlled Clinical Trials (RCCT).
• Participate in basic neuroscience research with local or international institutions.
• Participation in undergraduate education and training.
• Initiate and maintain physician residency training programs.
• Initiate and maintain Technician/Technologist Diploma training programs in aspects related to neuroscience including but not limited to diagnostic neurophysiology, intraoperative neurophysiology monitoring, intraoperative image guided surgery, intraoperative imaging and operative simulation.
• Participate in local, national and international workshops and symposia in the field of neurosciences.
• Participate in outreach programs through visits and telemedicine programs to help distant patients.
• Continuous staff development and education.
• Patient and family education and counseling.
• Improvement of the infrastructure of KFMC and MOH through participation in permanent, temporary, standby and add hock committees and task force.
