A medical team from King Fahad Medical City (KFMC) led by the pediatric surgery consultant Dr. Abdulwahab Aljubab, succeeded in removing a bullet from the back of an 8-year-old child (5 cm from the spine), as a result of random firing.
"The case was recently admitted in KFMC; after performing the medical tests and X-rays, it becames clear that the bullet reached the child's abdomen next to the kidney, which urged us to perform an urgent surgery, where the bullet was removed without any complications. After ensuring the stability of the child's health and safety, has was able to leave KFMC in good health." Dr. Aljubab said.
