Mahmoud AbdulJabar Al-Yamany, CEO of King Fahd Medical City (KFMC), received H.E. the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health, Ghassan Hasbani, to discuss aspects of cooperation in various health fields and activating this aspect to serve patients.

Al-Yamany welcomed the Minister at the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by a number of KFMC's executives and briefed His Excellency on the history of the establishment of KFMC, the hospitals, medical centers and departments, as well as the most prominent medical techniques in the medical city. The minister was also briefed on the most important projects and plans that the city is working on, which will contribute significantly to the development and improvement of services provided, and the development of competencies and working cadres.

Later on, Dr. Mahmoud al-Yamany accompanied the Minister to the Oncology Center, where they checked its departments and the specialized techniques of radiotherapy and nuclear therapy for oncology patients. They also visited the National Center for Neuroscience, where they inspected modern techniques for monitoring patients with epilepsy and documenting cases for examination therapeutic follow-up.

During his visit to the King Salman Heart Center, the Minister saw the equipment and the findings of the Center in terms of Cardiac Surgery. The Minister also listened to a detailed explanation of medical achievements and high therapeutic techniques, in addition to the number of operations carried out and future plans of the Center.

The Lebanese minister left KFMC, with the same hospitality and honor he was received with, after exchanging commemorative gifts with the executive leaders of the medical city.
