Dr. Asiri: Health Sector Budget Confirms Determination to Develop Specialized Services for Citizens

Following the announcement of this year's state budget by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in a meeting with the Council of Ministers, Dr. Mushabab Ali  AlAsiri, Executive Director of Medical Affairs at King Fahad Medical City expressed his optimism with this year's state budget that has allocated  120 billion Riyals to the health and social development sector, pointing out that such allocation will have a profound impact on the continuous support of the health sector and improvement of services provided to citizens at all levels.

Dr. AlAsiri expressed his delight at the statement of His Excellency the Minister of Health, who gave directions to add 10,000 beds to join the previously provided high-quality health services and to continue to support primary health care sector and national transformation programs to achieve the "Vision 2030".

He also stressed on King Fahd Medical City determination to continue to improve its third level specialized medical services to maintain the international reputation of this giant medical edifice. Dr. Al-Asiri explained that there will be gradual expansion of the number of beds to meet the increasing medical cases' needs, and that scholarship programs for doctors and health practitioners will also continue in order to cover the need for professional health practitioners.

Dr. Mushabab Al-Asiri also thanked Allah Almighty for His blessings on this holy land, and prayed for Him to preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, Deputy Crown Prince and government and to bless the Saudi people with this great bounty
