King Fahd Medical City (KFMC) holds "Partnership in Rehabilitation Symposium" 3-6 December, under the patronage of HE Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, and will be attended by several physicians and local and international specialists in the medical rehabilitation. The symposium will witness eight scientific sessions held over four days.

KFMC CEO Dr. Mahmoud Al Yamany stated that this symposium is held in light of KFMC's clear methodological plan, aiming at raising level of medical services by developing the staff and providing the best potentials available in the rehabilitation field.

Dr. Al Yamany added that "This symposium is related to one of the most important medical specialties in KFMC; Rehabilitation. It is a subspecialty that requires a constant searching for the most prominent scientific findings to provide patients with the best services".  

KFMC Public Relations and Corporate Communications Director; Mr. Bassam AlBraikan, stated that the symposium aims at determining the latest updates in the rehabilitation field, presenting the latest trends in rehabilitation research, practice and training, identifying current innovation technologies, and discussing needs and approaches appropriate for each disabled person. The symposium also aims at discussing how to implement initiatives to improve their community integration, supporting the clinical roles in promoting the rehabilitation profession and creating opportunities of communication with the primary researchers in the rehabilitation field.
