KFMC and Harvard Cooperate to Train Trainers on Medical Simulation

4-day Advanced Medical Simulation Trainers Course was launched yesterday at KFMC. The course will be instructed by a selection of medical simulation trainers from Harvard University, USA.

Dr. Osama Al-Zariki, Director of Anesthesiology and Operating Rooms, said that the course targets trainers in various medical fields, where modern methods and developments in the field of medical education are discussed using medical simulation. He added that a selection of trainers in the medical field has been chosen to attend from various hospitals in the city of Riyadh.  

The course was inaugurated by Dr. Hani Lababidi, Director of KFMC Center for Research, Education and Simulation Enhanced Training who pointed out that this course is a series of events held by the Center in KFMC with a selection of Saudi talents.

KFMC seeks to adopt advanced programs in the development of human capital and to continue seeking to build relationships with leading institutions specialized in training worldwide based on KFMC's most important goals and duties which are the training and development of the medical sector in the Kingdom and to be a benchmark at the regional level.
