"KFMC" Launches Private Clinic Service for 22 Health Specialties

​King Fahad Medical City, represented by Self-Financing Fund Development, launched a private clinic service under the supervision of elite consultants at KFMC.   

Mr. Bassam Al-Braikan, Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications Administration, said that the idea of the private clinics at King Fahad Medical City is in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program (NTP) 2020  in the health sector in order to raise the  level of efficiency of the provided medical services and give the opportunity to the largest possible number of citizens and residents to benefit from the health care provided in different specialties. It is also contributed for the fact that King Fahad Medical City is distinguished by qualified and trained medical competencies, as well as the availability of modern medical equipment.

Mr. Al-Braikan pointed out that the private clinics provide specialized medical services to the medical insurance policies holders and to those who are seeking private services so that it enables patients to obtain treatment services, stressing that it will contribute in providing high quality diagnostic and treatment services through the latest technological means and the finest medical equipment through the medical competencies of consultants and specialists.

Mr. Al-Braikan clarified that patients will be seen from Sunday to Thursday during the evening within various medical specialties. The first floor in the outpatient building is allocated to include dentistry, cardiology, pulmonary, sleep disorders, internal medicine, gastroenterology, hepatology, rheumatology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, infertility and reproductive medicine, diabetes and endocrinology clinics. While the sixth floor includes orthopedics, general surgery, surgical oncology, neurosurgery, breast surgery, cardiac surgery, bariatric surgery, urinary tract, otolaryngology, and nephrology clinics.

Mr. Al-Braikan also stated that outpatient clinics provide specialized care service for insurance holders from various insurance companies with two classes VIP and A, indicating that a free number has been allocated (920023533) to receive calls from those who wish to book appointments and to respond to their inquiries.
