The CEO of King Fahad Medical City, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Yamany, confirmed that the Kingdom budget for this year continued its backup to health Sector and keep it on top of priorities of the development projects. This illustrates clearly and confidentially the fulfilling of our aspirations towards the National Transformation Program 2020 and the Kingdom Vision 2030, thanks to Allah, the Almighty, and the wise government, which gives priority towards this vital sector related to the health and safety of the Saudi citizen.

Dr. Al-Yamany, in his press statement indicated that KFMC has implemented many of the specialized projects that will contribute to the upgrading of the health care provided to the citizens, in addition to the continuous activation of health training programs, investment and support in human resources and in the application of global standards.

Dr. Al-Yamany added that the generous support provided for King Fahd Medical City by the country boosted its potential in advancing the self-growth and expansion in creating specialized cardiac, neurological sciences and oncology centers, as well as localization of new medical technologies such as the proton technique for treating tumors, which is one of the latest techniques introduced in the Middle East, to take care of patients and to provide them with the best medical services.

He stressed the responsibility of everyone in KFMC to keep pace with the global developments both in scientific and technical contexts in the field of medicine, and to have a strategic perspective to meet the increasing local demands in various health care specialties.
