“KFMC” and “MOH” Discuss Enhancement of Patient Experience

​King Fahad Medical City, represented by the Executive Administration of Patient Experience, signed a memorandum of understanding for a mutual cooperation with the General Administration of Patient Experience Center in the Ministry of Health. The MOU's goal is to strengthen efforts and exchange experience in the field of patient experience. KFMC was represented in signing this MOU by Dr. Ali Asery, the Executive Director of Patient Experience, while MOH was repressed by Ms. Eman Al-Tiriki, the Supervisor-General of Patient Experience Center.

 Dr. Asery stated that: "This MOU seeks to activate many important initiatives in enhancing patient experience. One of its themes is measuring patient experience, which is a very important stage to identify patients' problems and solve them, followed by the stage of training medical and administrative cadres on how to best render the services to patients ".

 About the details of the MOU, Dr. Asery said: The MOU aims to strengthen the aspects of mutual cooperation, understanding and work between both parties in order to achieve the exchange of experience in the field of health adhering to the belief of KFMC and MOH and based on KFMC's experience and scientific potentials required to provide the support to MOH Patient Experience Center in order to achieve its objectives".

Dr. Asery added: "The MOU pays attention to a mutual cooperation and coordination between both parties in the field of patient experience, studies and research. In addition, MOU seeks developing a mutual database between both parties, determining a mechanism of communication, contributing in the social counseling and guidance, planning for preventive programs, and participating in the training programs and self-development courses organized by both parties in order to develop services in the field of patient experience, in addition to the participation in seminars, forums, exhibitions, world awareness days and relevant occasions organized by both parties in the field of patients care" .
