   The Faculty is the first faculty affiliated to the Ministry of Health, and it is a civil non-profit Faculty located strategically in the heart of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the largest and fastest growing medical centers in the Middle East. It is also a training center accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) as well as the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA). The Faculty constitute an important part of the Medical City with its excellent equipment and facilities, as it applies in its programs and systems the Kingdom rules and regulations under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education.

The Faculty follows a new and innovative system of education based on flipped classroom system that rely on active learning concepts so that the student is the focus of the learning process and the study is organized in a limited number of groups, creating an appropriate educational environment and a more positive interactions between the student and the professor. This will provide the student with clinical skills and critical thinking in coping with problems, finding solutions, and discovering and managing health problems in the society in order to qualify the student to expand his/her knowledge and skills to enable him/her to continue self-learning throughout his/her professional career.

A highly qualified academic, medical, administrative and technical staff are working in AlFahad Medical Faculty and King Fahd Medical City. They have a common objective represented in making the Medical City the model and standard in providing specialized health care with excellence in education and scientific research. All the levels of treatment, medical and professional competencies meet in different majors, providing greater care and commitment to total quality in dealing with patients in addition to achieving one of the priorities of King Fahad Medical City which is to spread knowledge and culture of development and achievement in society.

The Study System:
The study at AlFahad Medical City is based on the active flipped classroom system concepts, which rely on the concepts of active learning and interactive participation of the students, by using modern digital technology. This model stimulates students to self-learning and thus provides time in the classroom that can be used for additional educational activities such as differentiated education, projects and educational videos. The role of the lecturer is to encourage students and direct their individual efforts and motivate them to work in a collaborative effort through many activities and not just listening. They engage in dialogue, discussion, writing, problem solving, as well as practical and logical thinking, so that the student is the focus of the educational process by his interaction with peers and test their skills in the application of newly acquired knowledge on real scenarios, which help them to understand the information and create new ideas.
