The Executive Director of Medical Administrations, KFMC, Dr.Abdulsalam AlZahrani asserted the significance of qualifying national cadres in the scientific aspect and making them acquainted with specialized health information in addition to utilizing technical capabilities that help rendering health care services to patients clearly and in its simplest form, such as iKFMC application, which  enables the electronic dispensation and receipt of medications service upon the patient's arrival or to be sent via Mail Order Pharmacy to the patients outside Riyadh region.

During the inauguration of "Saudi Pharmacist Day" event entitled " The Pharmacist is your safety line", he pinpointed that the pharmacist is the patient's first safety line by illustrating and explanting medications simply in addition to highlighting concomitant symptoms and some cautions that may be violated by the patient due to improper use.

Chairperson of Organizing Committee, Pharmacist/Sawsan Al-Awwad, said: "the event aims to discuss the pharmacy profession and its professional developments as well as the most significant challenges to render optimal pharmaceutical care according to the latest scientific developments through accompanying scientific lectures."

She added, "We make "The Pharmacist is your safety line" to be the event's slogan, meaning that the pharmacist is the health safety line that should not be exceeded in terms of medication use to ensure rendering high-quality health care. Furthermore, many government bodies and participating associations took part in the event while reviewing various aspects of pharmaceutical care with the most modern means and methods of enlightenment and awareness."
