Specialists in Respiratory Care discussed the challenges faced by health care providers and overcoming obstacles which shall contribute in developing employee and providing support to patients.
This came during the 2nd Respiratory Care Symposium held in KFMC and lasted for 3 days in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Al Harfi, Associate Executive Director of Medical Affairs.
On the other side, Ms. Hanan Al-Ahmadi, head of organizing committee, said:" the symposium aims to present the latest developments in different aspects of respiratory care and share, with experts and specialists, the recent experiments in addition to the mechanisms of work, training and development. She added: "the symposium includes 41 sessions covering clinical procedures, challenges faced by respiratory care specialist, and some factors, such as atmospheric pressure during flight, affecting the normal breathing and how to avoid them. Furthermore, there are a number of training workshops that provide special skills for specialized-care specialists, in addition to an exhibition for the state-of-art medical equipment related to respiratory care."
Ms. Hanan mentioned: "the exhibition targets respiratory care specialists and health care providers. The symposium witnessed a participation of KFMC respiratory care specialists in addition to a number of students from universities and colleges in the same field in KSA".
