Deanship of Medical Education and Educational Technology
 
Overview:
The Deanship of Medical Education and educational Technology is a rapidly expanding entity of FOM-KFMC. The deanship objectives to achieve the goals set by FOM-KFMC:
1. Objectives in relation to customer needs:
• Ensure high quality of medical education through a continuous faculty enhancement program to meet the mission of FOM-KFMC
• Promote research and scholarship in the area of Medical Education and educational technology.
• Monitor/Evaluate medical education programs.
 
2. Objectives in relation to internal processes:
• Development of medical education programs to enhance faculty instruction and evaluation skills
• Support faculty in comprehension of professionalism
• Provide assistance in dissemination and implementation of academic integrity policies
• Provide assistance to the Associate Dean of Faculty of Medicine.
• Enhance course quality through student evaluations.
 
3. Objectives in relation to learning and growth needs:
• Collaborate with universities of international repute to conduct educational activites
• Provide effective and efficient strategy for delivering relevant courses.
 
The target audiences are:
KFMC staff, FOM-KFMC faculty and students.
 
Services provided: 
• Organize educational activities within FOM-KFMC
• Educational Planning and Evaluation to contribute in the development of the organization
• Assistance in Systematic Reviews
• Spreading the awareness of Academic Integrity
• Development and implementation of  Faculty Enhancement Programs
• Assistance in Medical Education Research
