Planning and Support
  • Setting up technical specification of the city's medical equipment and systems.
  • Administering and operating the department computerized database management program.
  • Trainings for the department staff and updating the staff with the changes in the field.
  • Supervising the biomedical Engineering Stores which provides the necessary spare parts or services to the maintenance job.
  • Supervision the biomedical library which provides hard or electronic catalogues or books related to either the biomedical field or to the service operations.
  • Representing the department in medical projects which needs participation of the Biomedical Engineering Department
  • Researches related to the field and presenting them if needed to the concerned departments.
  • Receiving and Acceptance of new purchased medical equipments according to the department procedures and to the terms and conditions specified in the Purchase Order and assuring that they are going to be added to the hospital property and department databases.
  • Equipment disposal and retirement plans and recommendations
