Nursing Education Department is one of the divisions of Academic and Training Affairs Administration.
It provides nursing staff and Saudi trainees with cost effective quality educational programs and resources.

Services provided:
1- To continuously provide organizational support through staff development programs to the KFMC nursing workforce on an on-going basis.
2- To support institutional and national mission of Saudization by developing and implementing nursing Saudization programs.
3- Establish local, regional, and international collaboration for accreditation of Staff Development and Saudization Programs.
4- To evaluate department performance, identify areas for improvement and address issues and concerns utilizing the performance improvement and research process and use analyzed data in planning for educational initiatives.

2- Clinical Training Department (CTD):
Clinical Training Department (CTD) is a subdivision of Health Training Administration in the Executive Directorate of Academic and Training Affairs at King Fahad Medical City.
The objective of CTD is to fulfill the need in health care arena at KFMC by qualified, skillful and competent, locally trained Saudis through professional and upgrade training. Its uniqueness lies in providing training opportunities particularly in the fields of Applied Medical Sciences (AMS), Pharmacy and Nursing.

3- Life support training and skill lab center:
The role of Life Support Training & Skill Lab Center at King Fahad Medical City is to deliver first-rate training to healthcare workers in Life Support Courses. The training includes hands on practice to deal with medical emergencies and rehearsal of resuscitation routines through a simulated emergency. The center is recognized as an International Training Center (ITC) for the American Heart Association (AHA).
