Achievements:

• This is the main tertiary referral center for Ministry of Health all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Center will equip with 42 clinical beds including 22 intensive care, coronary care beds and high dependency beds. The Center is well equipped with the latest technology which is fully integrated to facilitate seemless patient care. The Center also employs high caliber well trained medical and nursing staff with international reputation. Clinical Services:

• Cardiology Department:
  
  The Cardiology Department at the KFMC provides a diagnostic and treatment service for patients referred with heart disease. The service comprises outpatient facilities, inpatient provision, and a comprehensive range of non-invasive investigational facilities, cardiac catheterization and angiography with a range of interventional cardiology procedures.
  Our goal is to function as a comprehensive cardiology facility and to develop leaders in the field of Cardiology and to ensure that patient with heart disease have access to effective diagnostic and treatment facilities and are given the best possible chance of enjoying a full and healthy life.

• Cardiac Surgery Department:
  
  The Department of Cardiac Surgery is part of the Cardiac Center at KFMC. The Department provides diagnosis and treatment of a complete spectrum of acquired and congenital diseases of the heart and great vessels. Services include the latest techniques in coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve replacement and reconstruction, thoracic aortic surgery, heart/lung transplantation, congenital heart surgery, arrhythmia therapy and minimally invasive surgery.
